Error 420 & 430 (Dymo LabelWriter)

If you receive error 420 or error 430 while trying to print using the Dymo LabelWriter, follow the instructions below to work around the error:

1. Add the Dymo LabelWriter to the Start menu in Windows so that the program is automatically launched when the computer is turned on or rebooted by following the instructions below:
1. Right-click on the Dymo LabelWriter icon on the desktop and select Copy.
2. Click the Start button, select Programs, right-click on Startup, and select Open.
3. Right-click inside the Startup folder window and select Paste.
4. Close the Startup folder window.
2. Open the Dymo LabelWriter program on the computer.
3. Click Edit, select Preferences, and click the Functional Settings tab.
4. Select the Minimize to system tray check box.
5. Select the Suppress "save file" prompt check box.
6. Select the Start program in system tray check box.
7. Click OK.
8. Click the Label Editor tab.
9. Select the Optimize graphic and barcode printing for best quality check box.
10. Click OK.
11. Minimize the Dymo LabelWriter program.

As long as the Dymo LabelWriter software is open on one computer, the other computers with the software program should print correctly.
