Abstract:
If you receive error 420 or error 430 while trying to print using the Dymo LabelWriter, follow the instructions below to work around the error:
- Add the Dymo LabelWriter to the Start menu in Windows so that the program is automatically launched when the computer is turned on or rebooted by following the instructions below:
- Right-click on the Dymo LabelWriter icon on the desktop and select Copy.
- Click the Start button, select Programs, right-click on Startup, and select Open.
- Right-click inside the Startup folder window and select Paste.
- Close the Startup folder window.
- Open the Dymo LabelWriter program on the computer.
- Click Edit, select Preferences, and click the Functional Settings tab.
- Select the Minimize to system tray check box.
- Select the Suppress "save file" prompt check box.
- Select the Start program in system tray check box.
- Click OK.
- Click the Label Editor tab.
- Select the Optimize graphic and barcode printing for best quality check box.
- Click OK.
- Minimize the Dymo LabelWriter program.
As long as the Dymo LabelWriter software is open on one computer, the other computers with the software program should print correctly.
