Receiving an error 6 message while using FrameMate is due to one of two isues. Read the pararaphs below to determine the correct solution to your issue, based on your circumstances.
If you are receiving an error 6 message while using FrameMate in OfficeMate version 6.4 and below, ensure that you are clicking Add on the Cross-Reference Catalog & OfficeMate Data window before you select a manufacturer from the OfficeMate Data drop-down window. This error will not occur in the future version of OfficeMate 7.0.
You may also be receiving an error 6 message while using FrameMate because the frames UPC codes that you are trying to add are 14 digits long. If your UPC codes are too long, you will need to enter the frames manually. Currently, our Development team is working to find a more user-friendly solution to this issue.
